REPORTS TO: Embroidery Manager

DATE: 07/12/12
PURPOSE:
To print, finish and package digital orders per work order instructions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Process 4imprint digital orders, including banners and transfers on various substrates
Print, finish and package banners as directed
Print, mask, and apply full color digital heat transfers
Cut vinyl heat transfers and applique material
Book out digital orders on computer system
Order supplies and parts as needed for digital printer
Perform preventive maintenance as directed on digital printer
Perform other miscellaneous tasks as needed throughout the distribution center"
KEY COMPETENCIES:
- Knowledge of RIP Software – Versaworks, preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Computerized graphic art experience, preferred
- Print production experience, preferred
- Ability to work with deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Ability to discern proper color correction
- Attention to detail and quality
- Team oriented
EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum two-year technical school degree in Graphic Arts or equivalent experience
- Demonstrated understanding of Corel Draw or Adobe Illustrator
- Basic working knowledge of production art, digital decorating and terminology
- Ability to lift up to 75lbs and work with large format media
