Able to accurately, comfortably and energetically present the program and Lime Energy to individual customers and groups – after training

Independent and highly motivated with strong organization skills and having the ability to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios

Sound business ethics, including the protection of proprietary and confidential information
Ability to work with all levels of internal staff, as well as outside clients and vendors
Specific Duties:
Producing required number and type of qualified leads for Lime Energy auditors
Confirm or establish customers’ ability to participate in the program by obtaining copies of their utility bills over a required time period
Assist in scheduling audits and ensuring they have been completed
Setting up on a weekly basis with the assistance of the Lead Generator Manager, a detailed outbound lead generating program plan using in-person and telemarketing strategies
Contributing to the deployment of program marketing and outreach campaigns
Providing information to customers - once their needs are determined - on the available incentives and additional resources of the program by possessing its thorough understanding
Preparing daily status reports to accurately describe activities in the field
Monitor progress towards program goals on customer participation and the completion of eligible projects from generated leads
Work with sales auditors, if needed, by presenting proposals that recommend energy conservation measures, provide customer costs and incentives
Maintaining strong ongoing communications as follow-up to leads or potential leads and with customers to assure customer satisfaction
Coordinating with or follow-up on program Quality Assurance activities such as field inspections and customer surveys, as appropriate generating leads from referrals of completed Lime Energy projects
Research assigned territory or vertical market for relevant meeting, networking, chamber of commerce, government events that would assist in meeting the program and position goals
Achieve and exceed lead quotas that have been set
Achieve and exceed lead metrics that have been set
Ensuring accurate and timely reporting and record keeping and any additional requirements that the job might require
Excellent problem solving skills with ability to analyze situations, identify existing or potential problems and recommend solutions
Required Skills:
Proven ability to conduct successful cold calls
Current driver’s license and car
Extensive knowledge of Long Island, NY area
Excellent communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Proficiency in MS Office Applications including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, Access as well as CRM and sales management systems (e.g. Saleforce.com)
Understanding of financial terms and calculations
Team player with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Non-English speaking language skills a plus
Commercial energy and lighting experience a plus
Educational Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field or
Associates Degree with 2 years related experience
Experience :
2 – 4 years Sales Experience
Commercial energy and lighting experience a plus
Physical Demands :
Significant field work requiring driving and / or walking
