Embroidery Associate – Second Shift

PURPOSE:  To finish, fold and package embroidered product.  To provide support to the Embroidery Operators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

• Removal of embroidery backing from product
• Trimming unnecessary threads
• Fold, tag, and bag as directed on work order
• Final quality inspection of embroidered product
• Support operators by unpacking and staging product
• Assist in machine set-up
• Perform other miscellaneous duties as needed throughout theDistributionCenter
• Act as back up for Embroidery Operators when needed

KEY COMPETENCIES:

• Able to process alphanumeric data quickly and accurately.
• Good communication skills.
• Detail oriented.
• Ability to work independently as well as being a team player.
• Ability to work with small objects (i.e. threading needles).

 EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:

• High school diploma
• Prior experience working in a fast-paced production environment
• Prior experience with quality control
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
