POSITION: Embroidery Production Supervisor – 2nd Shift
REPORTS TO: Embroidery Production Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Exempt
DATE: 8/8/12
PURPOSE: To provide efficient and effective leadership support to their assigned team while also being responsible for the production of the Embroidery Department on second shift."
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties as assigned.
- Responsible for performing all duties included in the Embroidery Associate, Operator, and Support Operator job descriptions.
- Work with all Embroidery Production associates in achieving maximum productivity.
- Develop, coach, and counsel team members to meet/exceed their goals and objectives.
- Effectively deal with team member grievances.
- Work with production scheduling in meeting timely delivery of products.
- Provide added assistance in quality production of embroidered garments.
- Assist in training of new embroidery department personnel.
- Participates in training classes and actively seeks professional development.
- Coordinate training for team members within the department.
- Work all hours required during rush season to meet customer commitments.
- Monitor and implement safety procedures.
- May assist in the recruitment of new team members.
- May assist in the performance evaluation process of team members.

EDUCATION/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills
- Proven effective interpersonal skills
- Ability to reason and logical thought process
- Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook proficiency
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced production environment is preferred
